Weekend Mixtapes #46

Whenever summer approaches, I reach for my dub records more often for an appropriate soundtrack to the pressing heat. And since it's not far from there to dub techno, here's a my favourite mixtape of the month. Berlin-based production duo youANDme, who put together a two hour mixtape full of deep and dubby sounds for the Inverted Audio podcast.

More uptempo sounds can be heard on the latest XLR8R Podcast, selected and mixed by Apron Records-founder Funkineven. Since I missed it before, let me also throw in their previous podcast by Call Super.

I don't know why I was so surprised, but I've really become fond of the new Prins Thomas album (listen on Spotify). Give it a try, if you haven't! The Norwegian DJ and producer dropped by the Beats in Space to play records for more than an hour.
