Moondog: The Viking of 6th Avenue

With nothing much to do, I spent my morning sipping on many coffees and listening to Moondog. Eventually, I stumbled across this trailer while reading about Moondog's life on Wikipedia. Apparantly there's a documentary about “The Viking of 6th Avenue” in the making, a term coined while Moondog resided in NYC, where he'd become known for his “distinctive fanciful Viking garb that he wore, which included a horned helmet.” The documentary—the first and only about Moondog—is being directed by Holly Elson and scheduled for a release in 2014.
