Julia Holter - Where The Mission Bells Are Chiming (Down Beside The Sea)

Since I first came across Julia Holter‘s work through her magnificent record on Leaving Records, the Los Angeles-based musician put out two more albums, the latest was finally released today on UK's Domino Records. On the occasion, the folks at Bleep point to another recent project with Ms Holter's involvement: Songs in the Key of L.A. The Los Angeles Public Library houses a large collection of printed sheet music, released a book about it and invited musicians to record music based on these sheets. All tracks are available for free download on the website, apart from Julia Holter's track you might interested in another one by Aloe Blacc.
