Great Lengths Album Launch

Dutchmen Martijn Deykers is a DJ and producer better known as Martyn. Originally a drum & bass producer, he put out several dubstep 12-inches in 2008 on his own 3024 label. Even more people might know him from his Flying Lotus remix of Roberta Flack, or his mixtape for Mary Anne Hobb’s radioshow, recently re-aired in her best-of-2008 show.

Once again, London’s Cargo will be hosting the Gilles Peterson Worldwide Awards. On top of the announcement for the best tracks and albums, there will be a lot of live music and some DJs aswell. On the stage, you will be witnessing Jazzanova, Robert Mitchell Trio, Dorian Concept, Quiet Village, Mama Milk, Stacy Epps and Jonathan Jeremiah.

2000black Album Launch Party

If you got your hands on the Japanese edition of A Next Set A Rockers, you probably forgot that 2000black’s album is not yet available in the rest of the world. In order to celebrate the record release, London’s Uprock collective hosts a party with both Dego and Kaidi Tatham on the decks.
