Greymatter’s collaboration with Domu was posted last week, now there is an extended preview to the forthcoming album “Mind Over Matter”.
Greymatter – We Are One
A true banger comes from the man called Greymatter. His debut album Mind Over Matter will be out in mid-February on Unique Uncut, a first teaser is this cooperation with Domu.
RE:09 The Domu Good-bye
Today, I’m sharing my little Domu story with you, which I intended to write ever since he decided to call it a day. It’s the first part of my RE:09 series, in which I a look back at 2009.
Beane's Domu Tribute Show
Just in time for the new Domu album, Beane the Noodler has put together a 2-hour tribute show. It was broadcasted yesterday, but you can download it for a limited time.
Free AC Lewis remix from Domu
Here’s a free remix taken from Domu’s upcoming teaser for the One Offs, Remixes and B-Sides album. It will be out on 12″ next week, the full album will follow by the end of the month.
Weekly Bits 23/2009
This week, I got an excellent mixtape about Gil Scott-Heron, an interview with Juan Atkins, another mix from Domu and some visual niceness.

To get you in the mood for Domu’s upcoming compilation One Offs, Remixes and B-Sides, Tru Thoughts is releasing the Springbreak EP on vinyl, first copies are already available.
Domu – One Offs, Remixes and B-Sides

Domu Promo Mix April 09
TrebleO founder Dominic Stanton, musician of many disguises and extraordinary DJ, has posted another of his much sought-after mixtapes – and it’s a big one!
Domu on SoundCloud
I’ve been kinda sloppy with yesterday’s Weekly Bits. Not only did I forget to mention the Seasons Change mixtape from Stee Downes, I also wanted to mention Domu’s recent activity on SoundCloud.
Domu's Remixes, Rarities and One Offs
Later this year, you can expect a new double CD from Domu on Tru Thoughts. Called Remixes, Rarities and One Offs, this compilation is what the name suggests. It will be preceded (“very, very soon”) by a…
So I asked around, part 2
Instead of following the usual Best-of talk at the end of each year, I sent some questions to some of the musicians I like. In the second part of my survey, I asked about the expectations for the new year.
So I asked around, part 1
Instead of following the usual Best-of talk at the end of each year, I sent some questions to some of the musicians I like. Here’s the first part, looking back at 2008.
Yotoko – Silver Room Sessions 2
I was digging my archive to find an appropriate Christmas download for you, and look what I found: Silver Room Session 2 from Yotoko! Released back in 2006, this has been one of my all-time favourite mixes…
Domu – Odyssey
Papa Trax makes its debut release with an EP from Domu. Papa Trax? That’s right, it’s a subdivision of UK based Papa Records, focusing on a more club-oriented sound. For the moment there is no information whether Odyssey will be available on vinyl, it can be downloaded exclusively from Traxsource.
It's Domu in for Benji (again)
It’s that time of the year again, that Domu substitutes Benji B on BBC 1xtra’s Underground Soul. In the last two weeks new tracks from Kaidi Tatham, Zed Bias, Mark de Clive-Lowe, Blakai and Phlash & Friends have gotten airplay.
Here Comes Treble
It’s been one of my favourite compilations of the year and I’m late on my review duties – but in fact this blog didn’t even exist when everybody else was loving it already. Today we’re talking about Here Comes Treble, the first compilation from Domu’s young TrebleO label. And it’s a great debut, way too fresh to be put in this blog’s classics category!
Some Domu Mixtapes
Domu has posted some mixtapes on his blog, which can be downloaded as long as SendSpace can offer the files.
I am going to include a couple of treats in this one though, in the vain…
Our Music Our Culture Volume 1
The tracks sound familiar? That’s right, as they’ve been available in different outfits from the Coopr8 MP3 store. First you could get them on the five Cooperation III Samplers, the first two were even out on vinyl. Later this compilation showed up on the same store, under a different name but with most of the tracks, though not all of them.
Domu – Discotech
While the rest of the world only got the 12″ with four tracks, Discotech was released in Japan (through Psychic Phenomena) as a full album – dispite the EP name. It’s been widely dubbed as Domu-does-Theo-Parrish album, which in my opinion applies to the production technique only. The trademark Domu sound is still there!
