José James – Blackmagic (Remixes)
As second album from José James has been delayed for a release in early 2010, fans of the New York jazz-singer will be delighted to hear that his new single Blackmagic (Remixes) will come out on November 1st. The original version of Blackmagic is the second co-production with L.A.’s Flying Lotus, following a track from last year.
For the remixes, Brownswood picked some more heavy-weight artists, including the much talked about Joy Orbison, Untold and Izmabad.
01. Blackmagic (Joy Orbison’s Recreation)
02. Blackmagic (Untold remix)
03. Blackmagic (Izmabad 118 remix)
04. Blackmagic (Dop remix)
You might have been among the lucky ones, that got the Untold remix from FACT’s limited give-away. The Izmabad version is still available for streaming on the Kspace site.
Juno already has the digital release available for pre-order, the 12-inch should follow soon.
And then there’s this promo video from Kswiss. Don’t ask me for its purpose, I just know it existed on YouTube for a while already and it looks quite nice.
Nov 30, 2009 From Simbad comes another remix of the track, which you can download here

So first the remix and after the album..! Quite interesting, you hear the music in the clubs and then people will start wanting the record.
Has this happen before with other artists you know?
Thank you
