Jazzanova Remix Contest Finalists
In the last few weeks, the guys from Jazzanova were busy going through more than 400 submissions to their remix contest. There is no winner yet, but the remixers have been narrowed down to 10 finalists. You can listen to them on Soundcloud.

It was absolutely thrilling for all of us to listen to the variety of different approaches these remixers took to our music. And it took quite some time to sort out our personal favorites [...] Besides, we agreed on releasing digitally on our label Sonar Kollektiv not only one but at least three of these remixes.” – Jürgen von Knoblauch/Jazzanova

that one by mstr4 was impressive! quite a few nice ones in that bunch actually, which is surprising cause usually remix contest finalists are really bad(the organizers tend to not listen very hard)
i still think they should let people known that their remix submissions went through ok. i know it’s a lot of work but it’s a small price to pay for all the new signups they got to their site.
Hmmmm…other than the 4th one, I would’ve picked a completely different bunch! And of course mine would’ve been in there somewhere too ;o)
i agree, the fourth is also my favourite. wondering how #9 made it into the selection, could’ve been for diversity’s sake alone.
